Every year Harlow hosts various events, activities and community gatherings. Whether you are feeding the lambs at Pets’ Corner, watching the Town Park Fireworks display or getting in the festive spirit with the annual Christmas light switch on there is something for everyone.

Strike Academy Football Centre | Mondays 5pm - 6pm |Passmores Academy
Join us for high level coaching every week. Based in the heart of the community from 5:00-6:00pm for ages U7 to U11. Qualified coaches every week with tailored and expert training/experience.
Please note the first session will be a free taster session but after that it will £10 per session or become a member and pay £40 a month.

We Care Group | Tuesdays 10 - 12.30 | The Salvation Army
We Care Group is a meet-up for disabled people, their carers and families run by The Olympia-Wafula Foundation.
Disabled people experience isolation which can have a negative impact on mental wellbeing. By coming together weekly to support one another through networking, sharing experiences over a cup of tea or coffee, occasional inclusive yoga, and visits by volunteers, they hope to reduce isolation.

Old Harlow Pickleball Club | Thursdays 7pm commencing 25th January | Saint Nicholas School Sports Hall
Pickleball is a fun paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can easily develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for all…….Fun, sociable and very very addictive!
Free Taster Session
Come along for a free taster session to try this fantastic sport. Lots of fun, great exercise, learn the basics.

Harlow Town Park Social Strollers Walking Group | takes place every other Friday 10am - 10.45
Come and join our friendly group for a walk around the Town Park. Walks are led by the Town Park Manager and end at the park cafe.
Meet at the Greyhound Car Park. Parking is free for 1 hour, but you will need to display a ticket.

Join Rhiannon Faith Company for Creative Health Workshops at Harlow Playhouse. Workshops are completely free and open to all – no experience needed!
In each workshop we will use creative writing and movement activities to explore personal experiences of living with and without care. Make new friends, increase your confidence and build long term positive wellbeing and mental health.

Chill at the Mill | Saturday 20th July |5pm - 10pm | Parndon Mill
Parndon Mill invites you to a delightful waterside evening of jazz and art. The Gallery opens to visitors at 5.00pm, with entertainment beginning at 6.00pm.
Find a comfortable spot between the willow trees and the historic Mill and settle in for a relaxing evening. Indulge your senses as the sun sinks over the River Stort and the world slows down to melodious swing, latin, blues and bebop tones, with The Essex Jazz Collective featuring top UK saxophonist Zak Barrett.
Admission is from age 14+. All under-18s to be accompanied by an adult.
General admission – £15 per ticket.

Free skipping for women and girls | 27th August 2024 | Mark Hall Sports Centre
Join The Loss Project, Breakthrough Boxing and Leah from Essex Jump Rope Club for free skipping workshops for adult women and secondary aged girls. There are 4 repeat sessions with limited spaces available. Come and learn the joys of jumping rope, an easy and cheap way to get fit!
Please book a space via the Eventbrite so we can manage numbers. Places are free but limited – The Loss Project and Breakthrough Boxing are delighted to be bringing free skipping workshops to Harlow in collaboration with Leah from Essex Jump Rope Club.

Parndon Mill Open Studio Weekend | Saturday 14th Sept - Sunday 15th Sept
Over twenty studios in this idyllic setting will open their doors to offer an insight into the creative process, as well as the opportunity to participate in some.
Open Studios offers a chance for members of the public to see the amazing diversity of talent and skills that are nurtured here at Parndon Mill. In addition to the fine arts of painting and sculpture, there is craftwork in glass blowing, glass fusion, stained glass, textiles, calligraphy, ceramics, stone letter carving, jewellery & printing.
