Work is set to begin on the multimillion-pound regeneration of Broad Walk as part of Harlow Council’s priorities to rebuild our town and restore pride in Harlow.
Contractors Conamar Building Services have been appointed to carry out the works, which will see the complete transformation of the high street and provide high-quality public spaces. The project will include:
A comprehensive repaving of Broad Walk, East Walk and Harvey Centre Approach.
• Much-needed green landscaping, including sustainable drainage.
• Brand new and upgraded street furniture, including seating, lighting, bins and CCTV.
• Improving the areas around the Obelisk, Trigon and Vertex sculptures.
• Improved spaces and creation of a central pop-up and event space.
