Discover Harlow raise awareness of Harlow as an attractive place to do business. I am proud to be a Harlow Ambassador and enjoy working closely with them.
My role in the community means I get to see first-hand developments across the town.
We have cutting edge science and technology at Arrow, Public Health England and Kao Park to name just a few.
These businesses should be able to pick from an exciting pool of talent with Harlow College and local apprenticeships schemes preparing the next generation of Harlow businessmen and women.
It is fantastic to see rapidly growing Harlow businesses such as ((Bounce)), Landsheriffs and Gates of Harlow, as well as enjoying watching the Harvey Centre and HTS serving the community in new and innovative ways.
And so, last year against this backdrop of exciting development, Ian Hudson and I decided to launch an initiative called Harlow Showcase, an event which will bring together business and the community to showcase all that Harlow has to offer.
For business, this is a chance to network and promote their opportunities, and for the community it’s a chance to learn how they might be able to get involved in local business in a new, exciting way.
We at Harlow Showcase want to share our project with you in a short three minute film we have produced, we hope you enjoy it!
Harlow Showcase will be in Harlow Town Centre on Thursday 27 June from 10am to 4pm and will include live music and exhibitors across 80 pitches, as well as a wonderful display by ((Bounce)). We really hope you can join us for what promises to be a great day!
