Discover-Harlow-Ambassador-Meeting

Our 80 Ambassadors joined us at the Harlow Museum and Walled Gardens on Thursday 29 November for the second Harlow Ambassador meeting.

Ambassadors meet bi-monthly in some of the town’s most interesting venues to hear about Harlow’s exciting projects, people and potential.

At this meeting, the focus was on ‘colour and culture’, as we heard from:

  • Sharon Davies of Harlow Museum, who spoke about her aim of helping Harlow’s school children build their creative skills and the museum’s role in the community.
  • Sarah Waterman of the Royal Opera House Bridge, which works to ‘connect children and young people with art and culture’ and is working in Harlow with its new initiative, Inspire Harlow

Harlow Ambassadors champion the town as a great place to live, work and visit. They are a powerful force that will help the place to compete and attract investment, while enhancing the sense of pride people feel in Harlow.

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 27 February.
