Sixth Harlow Ambassador meeting

Around 60 Ambassadors met at Harlow Civic Centre on 5 December for the sixth Harlow Ambassador meeting. At the meeting we heard from: Dr John Keddie, Chair of the Harlow Place Board, who spoke about the exciting announcements made about Harlow over recent months, including the new hospital, the Town Centre Development Fund, and the Future High Streets fund. Jemma Mindham, Chief Executive Officer of Rainbow Services, who spoke about the award-winning work the charity does not just within Harlow but across West Essex, with a focus on their Community Builder initiative. Pets’ Corner: bringing the magic to Christmas

Justin Hopwood is the Manager of Pets' Corner, the farm that has been at the centre of our Town Park for over 50 years. What is Christmas without reindeer, Santa without Rudolph? But I wonder how many of you have actually seen a reindeer. Not many children have, so getting the chance to meet one can really add something special to their Christmas. At Pets’ Corner we take our reindeer to visit local primary schools, nurseries and care homes to bring a bit of Christmas magic.
